Star Captain Adrian,
Supernova Second, 16th Battle Cluster

From:

Galaxy Commander Mikel Furey

Re:

Spiez Town, Skandia

Date:

13 February, 3052

This is a call to bidding. You are required to present yourself at Galaxy Headquarters at 1700 lima, 13 February, 3052 for bidding for the privilege to attack the units defending Spiez Town and to conquer the township.

Date of Battle:

14 February, 3052

Site of Battle:

Spiez Town

Defending Units:

Dalistrix’s Company of the 1st Skandia Royal Militia Brigade (1 company of medium and heavy Mechs)

The Brigade has been present in Spiez Town for 4 days, since retreating there after being flanked by the Bronze Keshik in a battle with portions of the 7th Battle Cluster. J-3 expects their Mechs to have only light to medium battle damage, as some supplies were spotted being moved into the town two nights ago. The Militia has had some time to repair and refit, but, as they were heavily damaged by the Bronze Keshik, they should not have been able to repair all of the damage. They fought well against the Keshik, but are fairly new troops.

Defender’s experience rating: Regular, with some veteran.

Maximum Bid:

6 Stars. No Aerospace allotment (urban fighting).

Recommended Cutdown:

3 Stars: 8 points of Mechs, 7 points of Elementals

Weather Report For 14 February, 3052

Temperature: 5ºC

Wind: 5 kph out of the West

Visibility: >2 km

Clod Level: Cloudy at 2400 meters

Rain Forecast: 60% chance of rain turning to sleet in mid-afternoon
