The Axeman IIc that Nova Commander Michael pilots is a one-of-a-kind OmniMech. It is a Clan prototype that may eventually go into full production, but in the meantime, it upgrades the standard Inner Sphere Axeman to full Clan technology, including double heat sinks, an Ultra Autocannon-20 in its Prime configuration, and an XL engine. It keeps the hatchet from the IS original, and adds what was once thought an exclusive feature for House Davion: Triple-Strength Myomer. Read the most recent updates to Adrian's story to find out how it came to be installed in Michael's Mech.

This is a picture of the original Axeman, not the IIc model that Nova Commander Michael pilots. Since Michael is left-handed, his Mech holds the hatchet in the left hand; and Michael chose to install the autocannon in the torso instead of the arm.
