Markus is a battle-hardened veteran of over 30 years who happened to anger
his superior officer so badly, that he couldn't advance in rank. He was sent
to Brommhead, an insignificant frontier planet between the Federated Suns
and the Capellan Confederation. But then Markus was promoted from Leftenant
to Hauptmann when his ex-CO just wanted to leave Brommhead's "lowest
company, the Dog-company." This promotion was a scheme just at the
verge of the Fourth Succession War. The scheme included the promotion of my
character and the attempted assassination of the planet's rightful duchess.
Then all communication systems were turned off and Liao forces invaded...
